Learning At Home

The Junior Hub teachers have been thrilled to see how excited the tamariki are about our school garden. So many of our children have been inspired to create their own little fairy gardens at home. We absolutely love to see whanau supporting the tamariki by making links between their learning at school and learning at home. Tino pai rawe Gilberthorpe whanau!

Marsali has shared photos with us of the amazing fairy garden that she created at home with her whanau. Check out her wonderful ideas and hard work that she has put in to create the fairy garden of her dreams.

  2. Kia Ora Junior Hub. Amelia here.
Wow that is so cool. I guess Marali, Milla and Nevaeh made that one.
I wonder how long it took. For me it would take about..............never mind.
I think maybe they should add a sign that tells them a bunch of random places, that don't even have to be built, it could be just for fun!
    Blog ya later!

    1. That's a great idea Amelia. We have some little signs to put into our school fairy garden. Come and see me if you would like to write on a few and add them to our garden. :-)

  4. Hi Junior Hub, my name is Mikaela from St. Bernadette's School. Your houses are stunning, I love how you decorated them with bright colours, you must have worked really hard. How long did it take you to make the houses ?

I like the way you added pictures and you put detail into your houses and you used your imagination.I think you can put a little bit of words into your presentation. But otherwise them pictures look's like a block of house's and all of them look's stunning.
