Isabella's Day 2

Isabella wrote a story about her favourite food. Her favourite food is pizza with pepperoni, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise and cheese. Isabella, it looks like you drafted your story first and then published it. Go you, Isabella! I also like how you coloured the pictures of food. Keep on writing as good writers do!


Isabella also worked on the Day 2 Science activity. She is going to let us know what happens to the flowers tomorrow. Can't wait to see!

You had a busy day, Isabella. I wonder what you are doing for your mum today to celebrate her special day.

    Oh my goodness Isabella, that pizza sounds amazing! Pepperoni is one of my favourite toppings as well. I also love pineapple which a lot of people don't like on pizza! Your mum is a very clever cook, I bet she is teaching you well. I hope to see you again very soon!

    Wow Isabella, you have been very busy. I am impressed with your story writing. Have you been eating lots of pizza? I might make pizza for tea tonight, but I won't be putting pineapple on mine! Keep sending photos so I can see what else you are doing.

Letter of the Week

This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
