Kobe has been busy this morning writing what he has learnt about Anzac day and painting a poppy. Good job, Kobe and thank you for sharing your work.
In the Junior Hub we've been using many different apps. We used book creator to make a book during reading time. Two groups were working on sounding out the words we get stuck on. Every time we come to a word we don't know we just have to get our mouths ready to say the first sound. The other group was hunting for high frequency words and this time it was the word 'the'.
Hey Kobe, this is awesome. ANZAC day is very special and we have always celebrated it in my family, when I lived in Timaru and during my university studies I would go to the dawn service with my dad, then we would go and put our poopies on my grandfathers grave. This year I will be standing at the end of my drive with my home made poppy come dawn. 'Lest we forget"

I hope you will put it in your window for others to see when they walk past your house I am sure they will think it is fantastic too.
