Kobe's whale drawing |
Kobe is having another great day of learning at home. He followed the Math program yesterday and
made repeating patterns using different triangle shapes while thinking about the movements of reflection (flip), rotation (turn), and translation (slide). In the video, Kobe retold today's story 'Breathe' and explained the types of lines he used for drawing the whale. You made my day, Kobe, showing what great maths learning you did. You were very creative in making the repeated patterns. I loved listening to you retelling it. You are a superstar, Kobe!
That looks like some great shape patterning! I bet you had fun with that you always loved making the shape pictures during maths at school with the fabric pieces :-) Your whale looks great too, I love that you coloured it in red that makes it look super special! I like the way you thought carefully about the most important events in the story so you could retell it, ka pai Kobe!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day of learning you had yesterday Kobe. It was a cold day so it was great you had some inside activities to do. I love the picture you drew of a whale and think you are an awesome artist. Maths looked like a lot of fun and you look like you are really concentrating on what you are doing. Thanks for sharing Kobe!
ReplyDeleteWow Kobe! You really have thought hard about patterning using the coloured triangles. The patterns look very effective. Well done! What awesome retelling of the story Breathe and your whale drawing looks amazing too! Great job, Kobe!
