Today we continued working with Scratch. We didn't complete any new work, but looked at what we have learnt so far and enjoyed sharing our learning and helping each other. We are focusing on teamwork and taking risks with our learning... we tried new things with Scratch. Here are a few photos of our afternoon. We are looking forward to sharing some new Scratch creations soon. Watch this space!

In the Junior Hub we've been using many different apps. We used book creator to make a book during reading time. Two groups were working on sounding out the words we get stuck on. Every time we come to a word we don't know we just have to get our mouths ready to say the first sound. The other group was hunting for high frequency words and this time it was the word 'the'.
Kia ora koutou.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see you using Scratch and exploring what you can do with it. I see you have another post showing some of your work so I will check that out. How are you all enjoying it and what do you think you will do next?
Kia ora Te Ara Whakatau,
ReplyDeleteI love that you guys are taking risks in your learning. Scratch is really great for testing your code and then going back to see where changes need to be made hen it glitches. Have you tried Hour of Code on Code.org?
