This week Te Rōpū Kura Pounamu, Te Rōpū Whakaute and Te Rōpū Wawata have been working hard on learning to write descriptions. We have been focusing on writing using the sentence starter 'I see'. Here are some photos of our writing, we wrote the sentences together about the friendship soup we made on Monday. This was our first time ever writing descriptions and I think all the students did a fantastic job! After we wrote on the whiteboards we wrote our first story in our writing books, so come in and take a look!
Wow, what fantastic descriptions and I like how you started your descriptions with what you could see. I wonder what you would hear in a Friendship Soup, I think you would hear laughter.
