Isabella's Wednesday

Isabella with her Kite

Isabella had a busy fun day. She made her kite following the instruction on the video and added her own design to the kite. She couldn't wait for the day to bring some wind so that she can go outside to fly it. After watching Kiwican, she and her sister, Olivia, went out and did Tia's Bop it energiser with her mum's help. The last video shows Isabella rapping while reading the Wheels on Bus. Isabella, I really like your kite and enjoyed watching you doing the Bop it energiser. You are getting really good at reading fluently.  I am so proud of you, Isabella!

  1. Hi Isabella, what a great rap you did. I remember reading The Wheels on the Bus to my children when they were young. Maybe it will be a windy day tomorrow. I'm so impressed with all the work you are doing in your bubble Isabella! You are a star:)

Letter of the Week

This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
