Catch up with Jack

Jack has had lots of fun last week completing his activities with his Dad. He enjoyed making the leaf pictures and had a lot of fun creating his monster using old recycling materials he could find from around the house. I love how your monster is sitting back relaxing after a hard days work!

    These pictures are so creative and cool. I love the leaf picture and the effect you have put on it. It's beautiful. The Weetbix monster looks really cool kicking back outside. Great work all round.

    Jack, I like your leaf art very much. I like the way you used the leaves and onion for creating your artwork. It looks like it can be a few different things, an insect or a flower. You had a fantastic idea of creating your monster using the recycled materials. Great thinking, Jack!

In the Junior Hub we've been using many different apps. We used book creator to make a book during reading time. Two groups were working on sounding out the words we get stuck on. Every time we come to a word we don't know we just have to get our mouths ready to say the first sound. The other group was hunting for high frequency words and this time it was the word 'the'.
