Fun in the Shelford house!

Here is some awesome work that the Shelford girls have been doing. They had some fun celebrating Sunshine's birthday on Saturday, she looks a bit taller now that she's 6! Then yesterday they worked together to make these awesome leaf boats and paper hearts. Ka pai girls these look amazing!

    Oh my goodness! Sunshine! You are 6! A huge Happy Birthday to Saturdays Birthday Girl! I bet you had an extra special day in your bubble. I do like your colourful origami hearts , Essence and Sunshine .... just beautiful! Did you have fun sailing your leaf boats?

    Hope you had a wonderful birthday last Saturday, Sunshine!  Wow, you are now six years old. Your paper hearts are so pretty and colourful. Well done for making the leaf boats. I wonder if you raced with your leaf boats.

In the Junior Hub we've been using many different apps. We used book creator to make a book during reading time. Two groups were working on sounding out the words we get stuck on. Every time we come to a word we don't know we just have to get our mouths ready to say the first sound. The other group was hunting for high frequency words and this time it was the word 'the'.
