Isabella's work on Tuesday Morning

Isabella followed the writing activity this morning. As you can see in the photo on the left, her favourite food is chocolate, and she described it as yummy and sweet. After that, she worked out the food type and drew good food and moody mood food. I love chocolate, too Isabella, but I try not to eat too much as it can affect my mood. Excellent work, Isabella!

  1. Oooh good choice, chocolate is yummy and that looks delicious! It is cool to think about food as moody food and good food. I like your beautiful pictures, great work!

  2. Hmmm.... chocolate! I like a little bit of chocolate too, Isabella! Only now and then though! I really like the way you've sorted foods into good food and moody food! That made me smile because I liked the way you described some foods as moody! Great thinking, Isabella!

  3. Yummy, I like your choice of chocolate Isabella. I have been trying not to eat too much chocolate during my time at home, but I keep buying it. I'm so impressed with the work you have been doing at home. I'm super excited to see you back at school!

Letter of the Week

This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
