Maddison and Charlotte's Monster "Fallster"

Maddison and Charlotte have had a fun day making their monster together. They have called him Fallster, as he falls over a lot! They have put him in their playhouse and he is standing guard. I love how creative you two have been and I love how he is the same size as you. Great job girls!!

    Wow that is so cool girls! I love that you worked together to make one huuuuuge monster! He is so cool and what a fantastic name! I like how he is made from lots of different things, I think my favourite is the party hats for the arms :-) I wonder what was your favourite part of making him?

    You brought a smile to my face when I read this blog post. It looks like you had a lot fun working together to create Fallster. His face reminds me of the characters in the book Where the Wild Things Are. I'm so proud of the home learning you are both doing at home. You are superstars!

    What a great job you both did creating your monster, Fallster! I can see you had fun working together. That's the girl power! Fallster has real cool looking with its long legs and skinny body. I like the colours of its leggings and the feathery skirt. I wonder where you got the name Fallster?

In the Junior Hub we've been using many different apps. We used book creator to make a book during reading time. Two groups were working on sounding out the words we get stuck on. Every time we come to a word we don't know we just have to get our mouths ready to say the first sound. The other group was hunting for high frequency words and this time it was the word 'the'.
