Check out Mei's home learning!

Mei has been enjoying being at home. She has spent a lot of time rollerskating up and down her driveway, but she has also spent time doing some home learning. Mei, you did really well writing the instructions for 'How to wash a Woolly Mammoth". You started each sentence with action words. I can see you worked hard on Maths learning too. Great work, Mei, and thank you for sharing!

  1. Great work Mei! You must be an expert roller skater, that is very impressive because I think I would fall over lots if I were doing that! Mrs Park is definitely right your instructions are fabulous, great work! Thanks for sharing Mei, it's good to hear from you :-)

  2. Hi Mei, I liked reading your instructions for how to wash a woolly mammoth.
It sounded very easy to follow. I wonder if the woolly mammoth would have enjoyed it but I'm sure he would smell a lot better. Well done!

  3. Hey Mei, If I used roller skates I'd end up with lots of broken bones and I would cry a lot! Not a sight anyone would want to see. Your writing is amazing and I agree with the other lovely teachers above. Thanks for sharing :D Keep up the awesome work. You are a writer!!

  4. Hi Mei
I enjoyed reading your instructions for washing a woolly mammoth. If I ever find a dirty mammoth I can follow your instructions because they are clear and in order. Keep working hard in your bubble Mei:)

Letter of the Week

This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
