Mei's Fabulous Friday Learning!

Mei started her day by working on Maths. She then went outside and rode her rollerskate for most of the morning, enjoying the sunny day. After that, she worked on the rhyming words from 'The Snail and the whale' story. Lastly, she made 3 ingredient cookies. Mei, I loved how you worked on your Maths using those wooden pieces. Great to see all your three girls' smiley faces. How many cookies did each one of you have?  Have a lovely weekend!

  1. What a great way to spend your day. You look very confident on your roller skates I have seen quite a few people on them lately. Your cookies looked delicious but did they really only have three ingredients and if so I wonder what they were? I'll have to google it as I am so intrigued. Lovely photos, thanks for sharing.

    1. this household loves fast and easy quick recipes that allows the kids to get involved and make it themselves. this is a favorite as we use packets of cake mix, eggs and oil and then they decide on what to add into their individual cookies. These cookies never make it to the cookie jar:)

Letter of the Week

This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
