Mikayla's Home Learning

Check out Mikayla's home learning here. She has been working hard on her learning as well as having fun baking delicious looking cookies and doing awesome colouring. Well done, Mikayla. So nice to see your work. The cookies look so yummy with the chocolate swirl on the top. Did Cayden make the cookies with you? You did a really great job of colouring in so neatly. I wonder if you were using a special pen.

  1. Hi Mikayla, you have been very busy. I like all that writing you have done in your book.
I think your biscuits look very yummy the chocolate swirl looks better than when I make them I just put a chocolate button on top. Is the colouring on fabric? It looks beautiful.

  2. Hi Mikayla
I really enjoyed seeing what you have been up to. The colouring in does look like fabric, what will you do with it when it is finished?

  3. Great work Mikayla, you have done some wonderful activities. Thanks for sharing these awesome photos! I like Mrs Ryan am curious about what you've coloured in. I reckon it could be a tea towel or pillow case.

Letter of the Week

This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
