This year we are doing phonics in our homerooms. Kiwi class looks at two letters and their matching sounds every week. Weka and Pukeko classes work together on one letter of the week. Each week we have a letter of the week wall where we display all the things we can find that begin with our letter of the week. Last week our letter was H and we had some fun having Harlin Haines wearing a hat on our h wall. Too cute not to share! This week our letter is J so get your thinking caps on Weka and Pukeko classes, what words do you know that start with J?
These look like they would be really challenging to complete, what a fantastic achievement Rayeed!!! I think I recall you mentioning 300 pieces, was that right? You'll be doing 500 pieces then 1000 in no time :-) Puzzles are so good for your brain. Putting the pieces together requires concentration, and improves short term memory and problem solving skills that you can use in other aspects of your life.
ReplyDeleteWow Rayeed that looks like it would have been a tricky puzzle, how many pieces was it and how long did it take to complete it?
ReplyDeleteI love doing puzzles too, Rayeed, but it looks like you are the master!
ReplyDeleteWow, you are a puzzle star! Did you do this all on your own or have some help? It was a good day to be inside doing puzzles today because it was so cold outside.
ReplyDeleteRayeed, you are so clever and must be super good at doing jigsaw puzzles. They look like well over 200 pieces of puzzles. I love doing jigsaw puzzles too. Lately I have been playing it on my tablet, but it's not as much fun as the real puzzles. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you to all respected teachers for your appreciation and comments. The wolf puzzle is consist of 150 pieces and the world map puzzle is consist of 100 puzzles. Rayeed did all by himself . At the beginning he was struggling but later he managed by himself.
ReplyDeleteWow! Rayeed you are very clever, it takes a lot of patience to not give up on a big puzzle like that. I like doing puzzles too.
