Aroha continuously worked hard at home following the program on our Home Learning Site. She made a book cover, drew a delicious doughnut and a Lollipop Factory. She also worked on place value and addition problems.
I loved your book cover, Aroha, the author and the illustrator! Your doughnut looks so scrumptious and good enough to eat, but your Lollipop Factory is my favourite. I loved that you drew all the details in the factory, machines, people and the colourful lollies. It must have been great fun drawing!
Wow what colourful beautiful work you have done Aroha, ka pai! I really loved your lollipop factory too. My friend works at Rainbow Confectionary the lolly factory in Oamaru and part of her job as a technician is to taste test the lollies. Maybe this is something you could do in the future.
ReplyDeleteWow Aroha, you are an author and an illustrator! I can see you publishing a book one day. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWow Aroha, you are a clever cookie. You are a writer and illustrator. I look forward to buying your books in the future. I don't think I could work in a lolly factory it would be a disaster for me! Make sure you have a break and get out and enjoy the nice fresh sunshine.
ReplyDeleteYou are working super hard Aroha. I would buy your book just based on the book cover alone! Do you know the saying ' you can't judge a book by its cover?' Keep up the great work and sharing. I hope you are reading some cool books with great book covers too!
